The Brothers García is an American teen sitcom that aired on Nickelodeon. It ran from July 2000 to August 2004. This show was one of the first projects from Sí TV. Their goal was to create TV shows with Latino characters for many different viewers. The company later started its own TV channel. This series was special because it was the first English-language sitcom with an all-Latino cast and creative team.

About The Brothers García Show
This TV series tells the story of the Latino-American García family. An older version of one of the sons, Larry, tells the story. He looks back at his life with his two brothers, George and Carlos, and his twin sister, Lorena.
The show is about their daily lives and challenges. They deal with school, work, growing up, and living together in one house. Their home is in San Antonio, Texas. Larry, who is 11, tries to fit in with his older brothers. Carlos is 13 and loves sports. George is 12 and knows a lot of facts. Larry also wants to be himself, even with his twin sister Lorena getting lots of attention.
Their dad, Ray, is a proud history professor. Their mom, Sonia, is a hairdresser who works from home. She always tries to help her kids be their best.

Where the Show Aired
After its first run, The Brothers García was shown again on other channels. It aired on "Nick on CBS" from March to September 2004. Later, reruns were shown on The N from April to May 2008.
