The Buckingham, also known as Buckingham Plaza, is a tall residential building in Chicago, Illinois. It has 44 floors and was designed by a company called Fujikawa Johnson & Associates. This building is located on East Randolph Street.

The Buckingham is surrounded by other interesting places. To its west is the newer 340 on the Park building. To its east is the older Outer Drive East building. Two parks are very close by: Millennium Park is to the south, and Lakeshore East Park is to the north. The Buckingham was built before many of the other buildings in the Lakeshore East area, which is part of the New Eastside neighborhood.

Inside The Buckingham, there are 306 homes, called condominiums. Each floor has 7 homes. The very top floor has cool features like an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a laundry room, and a fitness center. There's also an open roof deck where people can relax. The building has three fast elevators that go to all the floors. There's also another elevator that goes from the first floor down to the four-story underground parking garage.

Where is The Buckingham in Chicago's Skyline?

The Buckingham is an important part of the Chicago skyline. It stands to the east of the 340 on the Park building.
