The Celestics are a Canadian hip hop group from Montreal. It's a duo, meaning it has two members: brothers Lou Phelps and Kaytranada. They started making music together in 2011. Their first music project, called Massively Massive, came out in 2011. Later, in 2014, they released their second project, Supreme Laziness.
Career
Early Days
The Celestics started their music journey using the names Louie P. and Kaytradamus. They released their very first music project, Massively Massive, in 2011. They put it out themselves on a website called BandCamp.
New Music and Solo Projects
On May 20, 2014, the duo released their second music project. It was called Supreme Laziness. This project featured other artists like GoldLink, Dudley Doo, Nana Zen, Costa Joe, and ST.
Later, on April 20, 2017, Lou Phelps released his own first solo music project. It was titled 001: Experiments. His brother, Kaytranada, produced all the songs on this project. Other artists like Bishop Nehru, Innanet James, and Kallitechnis were also featured on it.
Personal Life
Lou Phelps is the younger brother of Kaytranada. They are both from Montreal, Canada.
