The Little Flying Bears (which is Leteći medvjedići in Croatian) is a fun cartoon show. It was made by Zagreb Film and CinéGroupe. This show was a team effort between Canada and Croatia. It first aired in 1990.
This cartoon teaches kids how important it is to protect our planet. It shows what happens when we pollute or cause fires. The series also explains how every part of an ecosystem works together.

About the Show's Story
The show is about a special kind of little bears with wings. They live in a magical forest. These bears live in a peaceful community. They work together to keep their forest safe from pollution.
But two weasels, named Skulk and Sammy, often try to cause trouble. They want to pollute the forest. Sometimes, Slink the snake helps them. These three bad guys always try to mess up the forest's peace. But the flying bears always stop their plans! The bears listen to wise advice from Plato, an old bear who can't fly. They also get help from his friend, Ozzy the owl.
Meet the Characters
Good Guys
- Plato (voiced by Walter Massey) - Plato is a very wise old grey flying bear. He leads the flying bear community. He is like a grandfather to all the young bear cubs. Plato is too old to fly, but the young bears respect his wisdom. He gives them good advice. He is named after a famous Greek thinker.
- Walt (voiced by Arthur Holden) - Walt is a young blue flying bear cub. He has lighter blue hair and orange wings. He is Tina's boyfriend. Walt and Tina are the main characters of the show.
- Tina (voiced by Jessalyn Gilsig) - Tina is a young orange flying bear cub. She has a blonde ponytail and blue wings. She wears a green necklace and a big green flower on her head. She is Walt's girlfriend. Tina and Walt are the main characters.
- Josh (voiced by Teddy Lee Dillon) - Josh is a young light brown flying bear cub. He has brown hair and purple wings. He is Jasmine's boyfriend. Josh is also Jason's twin brother.
- Jasmine (voiced by Pauline Little) - Jasmine is a young pink flying bear cub. She has orange wings and a blue necklace. She wears a blue flower crown. She is Josh's girlfriend and Lotus's identical twin sister.
- Lotus (voiced by Pauline Little) - Lotus is a young pink flying bear cub. She has orange wings and a blue necklace. She wears a green flower crown. Lotus is Jasmine's identical twin sister.

Bad Guys
- Skulk (voiced by Terrence Scammell) - Skulk is a weasel who acts like a human. He wears a blue vest. He is one of the Little Flying Bears' main enemies. He loves human things, which often causes problems in the forest.
- Sammy (voiced by A.J. Henderson) - Sammy is another weasel who acts like a human. He is Skulk's partner and not very smart. He wears a green shirt and a football helmet. He is also an enemy of the Little Flying Bears.
- Slink (voiced by Rick Jones) - Slink is a clever snake. He is the only snake in the forest. He often helps Skulk and Sammy with their plans.
