The Mysterious Moon Stallion
The story happens a long time ago, during the late Victorian era. Professor Purwell, a father who lost his wife, travels to Wiltshire. He is called by Sir George Mortenhurze. Sir George is a local landowner and a former army officer. He wants Professor Purwell to help him find old clues about King Arthur. Professor Purwell brings his two children, Diana and Paul, along for the trip.
Arrival and a Strange Encounter
When they arrive at the train station, Sir George's groom, a man named Todman, picks them up. They travel to Sir George's large estate in a pony and trap. On the way, they briefly see a special white horse. This horse lives wild on the moors. It is known as the Moon Stallion. Even though Diana cannot see, she somehow knows the horse is there.
Secrets of the White Horse
It turns out that the Moon Stallion is more than just a horse. It is a magical messenger. It is connected to the moon goddess and the ancient story of Merlin, the famous wizard.
Diana and Paul soon team up with Estelle. Estelle is Sir George's daughter. Together, they discover that Sir George and Todman are trying to catch the Moon Stallion.
Who Wants the Horse?
Todman is a "horse warlock," which means he has special powers over horses. He wants to capture the Moon Stallion for its power. He believes it will make him strong, like a partner to the moon goddess. Sir George, on the other hand, blames the Moon Stallion for his wife's death. He wants to get revenge on the horse.
