The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour was a fun Saturday morning cartoon show that lasted for 60 minutes. It was made by two famous animation studios, Hanna-Barbera Productions and Ruby-Spears Enterprises. This show aired on ABC from September 25, 1982, to December 18, 1982.
The show was a "package show," which means it included different cartoon segments all in one hour. It featured adventures from Scooby-Doo & Scrappy-Doo, Scrappy & Yabba-Doo (both from Hanna-Barbera), and The Puppy's New Adventures (from Ruby-Spears).
Each hour of the show was split into two parts. The first half-hour had three shorter cartoon stories: two 7-minute Scooby-Doo & Scrappy-Doo episodes with a 7-minute Scrappy & Yabba-Doo episode in between. The second half-hour was a full 30-minute episode of The Puppy's New Adventures. The Scooby and Scrappy cartoons were written and voiced by Hanna-Barbera, but Ruby-Spears helped animate and edit them.
