The Trump Building is a very tall building, called a skyscraper, in New York City, United States. It stands 283 meters (927 feet) high. This amazing building has 70 floors inside. It was finished in 1930. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world.
This skyscraper was once the tallest building on Earth! It held this record for a short time in 1930. Before it was built, the Woolworth Building was the tallest. A few months later, the Chrysler Building became even taller.

Building Names Through Time
This building has had a few different names. When it was first built, it was called the Bank of the Manhattan Company Building. Later, the bank changed its name. So, the building became known by its address, 40 Wall Street. In 1995, Donald Trump bought the building. He then changed its name to what it is today.
