Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said (Arabic: ذي يزن بن هيثم آل سعيد, romanized: Ḏī Yazin bin Hayṯam ʾĀl Saʿīd) was born on August 21, 1990. He is the Crown Prince of Oman, which means he is next in line to become the ruler of Oman. He also serves as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.

About Theyazin bin Haitham
His Early Life and Education
Theyazin is the oldest son of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah. He has one younger brother and two sisters. His family is very involved in the government of Oman. For example, his uncle, Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq, is a Deputy Prime Minister.
Theyazin studied political science at the University of Oxford. He also earned a master's degree in history from Oxford Brookes University. In 2022, he completed his training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
His Marriage
In January 2021, Theyazin became engaged to Sayyida Meyyan bint Shihab bin Tariq Al Said. They are cousins because their fathers are brothers and their mothers are sisters. They were married on November 11, 2021, at the Al Alam Palace.
In January 2025, it was announced that Theyazin was engaged again.
His Important Roles
Theyazin started working for the foreign ministry in 2013. He worked at the Omani Embassy in London for two years.
In August 2020, he was appointed the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth. This job was created by combining several government departments.
Becoming Crown Prince
On January 11, 2021, the Sultan of Oman created a new rule for who would become the next ruler. This rule also created the role of Crown Prince. As the eldest son of the Sultan, Theyazin became the first Crown Prince of Oman. This means he is the official heir to the throne.
