Thomasleeha (also known as St. Thomas) is an Indian movie from 1975. It is a Malayalam-language historical drama film. The movie tells the story of Saint Thomas the Apostle and his work in India. It was directed and produced by P. A. Thomas.
The Story of Thomasleeha
This film shares the story of Saint Thomas the Apostle. He arrived in a place called the Malabar Coast in India around the year AD 52. His goal was to share his beliefs with the Jewish people and other local communities. These local people are now known as Saint Thomas Christians or Nasranis.
Saint Thomas helped set up seven and a half churches in Kerala. These churches are in places like Kodungallur, Palayoor, and Kollam. He was later killed for his beliefs in AD 72. This happened near Mylapore, which is in Chennai.
