Tickety Toc is a fun computer-animated TV show made for children. It was created by The Foundation and FunnyFlux Entertainment. The show is all about two main characters, Tommy and Tallulah, who live inside a magical clock. Their big job is to make sure the clock chimes on time every hour!
About the Show
Tickety Toc first aired in Asia on April 19, 2012. Soon after, it started showing in many other countries. In the United Kingdom, it began on April 23, 2012, and quickly became a very popular show on Nick Jr. It also became a top daytime show on Nick Jr. in the United States when it launched on September 10, 2012.
The show has 52 episodes in its first series. Each episode is 11 minutes long. Sometimes, two episodes are shown together as one longer block.
The Story and Characters
The show takes place inside the Tickety Toc Clock. This clock is special because it has a whole world behind its face! In this world, things don't always go as planned.
The main characters are Tommy and Tallulah. They are siblings who race against time to keep the Tickety Toc Clock working perfectly. They are always full of energy and try their best, even when they get into tricky situations.
Many other fun characters live in the clock's world:
- Pufferty: A friendly train that is also part dog. Pufferty helps everyone get around Tickety Town.
- McCoggins: A jaguar who is the maintenance man. He fixes things.
- Hopparoo: A playful rabbit.
- Madame Au Lait: A cow who is a chef and baker.
- Battersby: A bat who is a boss.
- Chickadee: A green and orange chicken.
- Lopsiloo: A snail who is a gardener.
In the United States, Tickety Toc first appeared on Nickelodeon. Later, it moved to Nick Jr. for weekday showings.
