In February 2003, Tiffany appeared on Star Search. She won the Grand Champion title in the junior singer group. She made history by being the only performer on the show to get perfect scores every time she performed. In the competition, Tiffany sang against other talented kids like David Archuleta and Tori Kelly, who later became famous singers too.
Acting and First Music Releases
Besides singing, Tiffany also started acting. She appeared in an episode of Law & Order: SVU. In the same year, when she was 10, she sang for music executives at Columbia Records and was offered a recording contract. She also had a small role on the TV show The District. In 2005, Tiffany made her movie debut in Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Black Woman. She also sang on the movie's soundtrack.
After signing with Columbia Records, Tiffany released her first song, "Let Me Be Your Angel", in 2004. It was a cover of an older song by Stacy Lattisaw. The song became a small hit on the R&B music charts. Soon after, she released her first album, called Tiffany Evans, which had eight songs. She also released a Christmas song and her version of "The Star-Spangled Banner".
