Tiffany's TV Journey

Starting Out in Reality TV (2005–2006)

Tiffany Pollard began her TV career in 2005 when she was 23. She was working as a clothing buyer in Hollywood when a casting agent noticed her. This led to her being cast in Flavor of Love. This reality dating show was filmed in late 2005 and first aired in early 2006.

While on Flavor of Love, Tiffany sometimes had disagreements with other contestants. In the first season, she made it to the final two. However, Flavor Flav chose another contestant, Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander. After their relationship ended, Flavor Flav decided to do a second season of his dating show.

For Flavor of Love 2, Flavor Flav invited Tiffany back to help him choose contestants. She later joined the show as a participant herself. Tiffany reached the finale again, but Flavor Flav chose Chandra "Deelishis" Davis. Tiffany questioned his decision to bring her back only to eliminate her again. The season finale was very popular, with over 7.5 million viewers.

Her Own Shows (2007–2010)

After Flavor of Love, Tiffany Pollard got her own reality show called I Love New York. This was her first show where she was the main star. She then appeared in other spin-off series. These included I Love New York 2, New York Goes to Hollywood, and New York Goes to Work.

I Love New York premiered on January 8, 2007. It became the most-watched series debut in VH1 history, with over 4.4 million viewers. On the show, Tiffany looked for love among a group of men. She chose Patrick "Tango" Hunter in the finale. However, their engagement ended soon after filming.

A second season, I Love New York 2, started on October 8, 2007. Tiffany chose George "Tailor Made" Weisgerber in the finale. They got engaged during the reunion special.

Tiffany's efforts to become an actress led to another spin-off show. New York Goes to Hollywood premiered on August 4, 2008.

In 2009, Tiffany tried out different jobs in her fourth spin-off series, New York Goes to Work. Viewers voted each week on which job she would take. If she did well, she earned a bonus. Over the series, she earned $45,000 in bonuses. In the finale, viewers voted for I Love New York 3 to be her next project.

However, plans for I Love New York 3 were stopped. Tiffany later shared that this was due to a sad event involving a former reality show contestant. After this, Tiffany decided to take a break from the public eye for a while.
