Timothy Lenard Pickett (born April 18, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Florida State University. He was chosen in the second round of the 2004 NBA draft by the New Orleans Hornets.

Tim Pickett's Basketball Journey
Early Career and College Years
Tim Pickett started his basketball journey in college. He played for Daytona State College and Indian River State College. Later, he joined the Florida State Seminoles from 2002 to 2004. His strong performance in college led him to be drafted into the NBA.
Professional Teams and Leagues
After college, Tim Pickett became a professional basketball player. He was drafted by the New Orleans Hornets in 2004. Over his career, he played for many teams around the world.
In 2006, he joined Coopsette Rimini in Italy. He also played for Andrea Costa Imola in Italy during the 2007-2008 season.
Pickett's career took him to different countries. He played for PBC Lukoil Academic in Bulgaria. He also played for Shaanxi Gaitianli Kylins in China. In Puerto Rico, he was part of the Capitanes de Arecibo team.
Playing in Asia and Beyond
On September 14, 2010, Tim Pickett signed with Ironi Ashkelon in Israel. In July 2011, he joined the Meralco Bolts team. He played a few games but had to stop due to an injury.
In 2012, Pickett moved to China again. He signed with the Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers on January 6. In his very first game with Xinjiang, he scored an impressive 35 points.
Later, in 2013, he played for Hacettepe Üniversitesi B.K. in Turkey. He scored 11 points in his first game with them. Tim Pickett's career showed his ability to play in many different leagues and countries. He retired from professional basketball in 2020.
