The Story of Time to Smell the Roses

This book follows the brave mouse, Hermux Tantamoq. He is a watchmaker who also helps solve mysteries.

What's the Mystery About?

Hermux Tantamoq is busy planning his wedding to the amazing aviator, Linka Perflinger. But then, a very rich mouse named Androse De Rosenquill asks for his help. Androse wants Hermux to find a missing squirrel.

At the same time, a cosmetics boss named Tucka Mertslin is making secret plans. She is working with a scientist against another cosmetics company. During all this, a beautiful garden is damaged. Also, a puzzling discovery is made that no one can explain. As Hermux works on his task, he starts to find surprising connections between all these events.

Meet the Characters

You will meet many familiar characters from the earlier Hermux Tantamoq books. These include different rodents, insects, and other creatures. In this book, a new character appears. His name is Thirxen Ghoulter. He works as a coroner, which means he investigates mysterious discoveries. He also practices taxidermy, which is preparing animal specimens.

Hermux also has a smart pet ladybug named Terfle. Terfle travels with Hermux on his adventures. She loves to eat jelly and dried aphids.
