The Life of Timothy Collopy

Timothy Collopy was born in Limerick, Ireland. When he was young, he worked as a baker's helper. But Timothy loved to draw and paint. A kind friar named Father Walsh noticed his amazing talent.

People in Limerick raised money to help Timothy. This money allowed him to travel to Rome, Italy. Rome was a famous place for art students. Timothy stayed there for several years to study painting.
