Terry Lee Landrum, often called Tito, is a former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an Outfielder from 1980 to 1988. He was born on October 25, 1954.

Tito Landrum's Baseball Journey
Tito Landrum was born in Joplin, Missouri. He went to Highland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Playing for the Orioles
Landrum joined the Baltimore Orioles on August 31, 1983. This was the very last day a player could join a team for the postseason. He became a big hero for the Orioles that year.
In the final game of the 1983 American League Championship Series, Landrum hit a game-winning Home run. This helped the Orioles win the series. His teammate, John Lowenstein, even joked about not knowing Landrum's first name because he was such a new and unexpected star.
Postseason Heroics
Landrum also played very well in the postseason for the St. Louis Cardinals. This happened in the 1985 National League Championship Series and the 1985 World Series. He filled in for an injured player named Vince Coleman.
During these important games, Landrum's batting average was over .300. He even hit a home run in Game 4 of the World Series.

After his baseball career, Tito Landrum went to New York University. He earned a degree in physical therapy. In 1998, he became a physical therapist and opened a practice in New York City. He also worked as a hitting coach for the NYU Baseball team.
