About the Tito Puente Amphitheatre
The Tito Puente Amphitheatre can hold up to 3,000 people. This makes it a great spot for concerts that feel more personal and close-up. Many different artists perform here, playing all kinds of music.
A Place for Music and Events
Every year, the amphitheatre hosts the Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Festival. It is located right next to the Roberto Clemente Coliseum and Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Besides concerts, the venue is also a popular place for other special events. These include graduations, weddings, and even photo shoots.
Reopening After Hurricane Maria
In 2017, Hurricane Maria caused some damage to the amphitheatre. Because of this, it had to close for a short time. However, it reopened in mid-December 2017. The reopening was celebrated with a concert featuring the band Circo and other artists. This event was called Corona Fest x Nuestra Playas, which means "Corona Fest for our Beaches."
