James Todd Newton is an American TV host, reporter, and author. He is best known for hosting many popular game shows. Todd has been on TV and radio for over 30 years, entertaining audiences of all ages. He even won an award for being a great game show host!

Todd Newton's Entertainment Journey
Todd Newton began his career when he was just sixteen years old. He started as a disc jockey (DJ) for a company called Kincaid Entertainment in St. Louis. Later, this company helped him get a role on a children's TV show called Gator Tales on KMOV.
In 1994, Todd visited Los Angeles to report on Hollywood for a St. Louis TV station, KPLR. While there, he signed with an agent and became a host for E! Entertainment Television in 1995. At that time, he was known on the radio as Rikk Idol.
Hosting Many Popular Shows
Todd Newton has hosted many well-known game shows. In 2012, he won a special award, the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host. He received this award for his work on Hasbro Studios' Family Game Night.
After that, he co-hosted Monopoly Millionaires' Club with comedian Billy Gardell. Todd was also guided by famous TV personalities like Sande Stewart and Bob Barker.

Todd on the Radio
Todd Newton has also been a popular voice on the radio. He hosted programs at several American radio stations. These include WKBQ in his hometown of St. Louis, KIIS and KBIG in Los Angeles, and WNEW in New York. He also hosted the syndicated show All Nite Cafe.
In January 2015, he helped launch a new radio station in St. Louis called NOW 96.3 KNOU. Because of his great work, he was inducted into the St. Louis Media Hall of Fame.
Today, Todd is still busy! He hosts The Host With The Most podcast. He also has a travel series called The Tattooed Traveler on DBTV, Roku, Amazon Fire, and YouTube. Plus, you can hear him on the syndicated radio program The Todd Newton Morning Show with Maria Todd.
