Tom Ward was born in a city called Swansea in Wales. When he was younger, he went to school in Oxford and Canterbury in England. After that, he studied at Lincoln College, which is part of the University of Oxford.
Acting Career
Tom Ward started his acting career in the early 1990s. He has appeared in many different TV shows and movies.
Early Roles
In 1998, Tom Ward played the character George Osborne in a BBC miniseries called Vanity Fair. This show was based on a famous book by William Makepeace Thackeray.
In 2000, he was in another miniseries for Channel 4 called Anna Karenina. This show was also based on a well-known book, written by Leo Tolstoy.
Silent Witness and Other TV Shows
Tom Ward joined the TV show Silent Witness in 2002. This show is about forensic science, which means using science to solve crimes. He played Dr. Harry Cunningham, a student who learned from the main character, Sam Ryan. Tom Ward was a regular on the show for ten years, leaving in 2012 when his character moved to New York.
After Silent Witness, he appeared in the Doctor Who Christmas special episode called "The Snowmen" in late 2012. He also had a role in the TV series Death in Paradise in early 2013.
