Playing Career Highlights
Tomas Pačėsas was a talented point guard during his playing days. He was known for his smart plays and leadership on the court. He played for teams in Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.
Awards as a Player
One of his biggest achievements was being named the Polish Basketball League MVP in 2004. This means he was the most valuable player in the entire Polish league that year. He also helped his teams win many championships.

Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Tomas Pačėsas became a basketball coach. He started as an assistant coach and then became a head coach.
Coaching Success in Poland
He coached the team Asseco Prokom for several years. During his time there, he led them to win the Polish Basketball League championship four times in a row, from 2008 to 2011. He also won the Polish Basketball Cup in 2008 and the Polish Basketball Supercup in 2010.
Coaching Lietuvos Rytas
In December 2015, Pačėsas became the head coach for Lietuvos rytas, a well-known team in Lithuania. He helped them win the King Mindaugas Cup in 2016. However, the team faced some challenges in the league playoffs. He later resigned from the team in February 2017.
Current Role
As of 2024, Tomas Pačėsas is an assistant coach for the Lithuania men's national basketball team.
