Tomokazu Nagira (柳楽 智和, Nagira Tomokazu, born October 17, 1985) is a former Japanese football (soccer) player. He played as a defender.

Playing for Clubs

Tomokazu Nagira was born in Izumo, Shimane, Japan, on October 17, 1985. After finishing high school, he joined the professional team Avispa Fukuoka in 2004. He played his first game in 2005. Over time, he got more chances to play for the team.

In 2011, he moved to FC Tokyo. However, he did not get to play much in games there. Because of this, he moved to Gainare Tottori in 2012. In 2013, he played regularly for Gainare Tottori. At the end of the 2013 season, Tomokazu Nagira decided to retire from playing professional football.

Playing for Japan

In June 2005, Tomokazu Nagira was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. This team competed in the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship. This is a big tournament for young football players from around the world.

During this tournament, Nagira played in all four matches. He played the entire game in each match as a central defender.
