Tongkang LRT Station SW7 is an LRT station on the Sengkang LRT Line West Loop in Sengkang, Singapore. It was opened in January 2005. At the same time, the Punggol LRT East Loop opened.
Name
The station's name refers to a light boat (tongkang) that was used for transportation on rivers. It was named Tongkang because the area it was located in used to be closely related with water activities.
