Toni Deion Pressley (born February 19, 1990) is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a defender for Afturelding in Iceland. Toni has played for many teams, including the Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit in the NWSL. She also played for Ryazan VDV in Russia. Toni was a member of different United States national youth teams. She also played for the United States women's national under-23 soccer team.

Early Life and High School Soccer
Toni Pressley grew up in Melbourne, Florida. She went to West Shore Junior – Senior High School. As a senior, she was the team captain. She helped her team reach the Class 3A Regional finals. In 2007, Toni was named to the NSCAA/adidas Youth All-America Team. She also received first team All-Space Coast honors. In 2008, she was named a Parade All-American. Soccer Buzz magazine also listed her as a top 50 recruit.
Toni was part of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Region III team for three years. She was the top scorer in the Region III league in 2006 and 2007. She also played for a local club team called Space Coast United.
College Soccer at Florida State University
From 2008 to 2011, Toni attended Florida State University. She studied criminology. She played as a defender and forward for the Seminoles soccer team. She played in 96 games during her college career. This put her tied for third in game appearances for the team.
As a freshman, she was named to the All-ACC Second Team. She was also named Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week once. This was after she scored important goals in a match against the University of Florida. Toni was considered for the Hermann Trophy in 2010 and 2011. This award goes to the best college soccer player.
Professional Club Career
Starting in the W-League
Toni began her professional club career in the W-League. In the summer of 2008, she played for the Boston Renegades. From 2009 to 2010, she played for the Washington Freedom Futures.
Moving to the WPSL Elite
In 2012, Toni was chosen by the Philadelphia Independence in the 2012 WPS Draft. However, the league stopped before the season could begin.
Later in 2012, she played for Western New York Flash in the WPSL Elite as a center-back. Toni helped the Flash win the league championship. She scored a goal in the last minute of the game to tie it. Her team then won the championship in a penalty shootout.
Playing in Russia and the NWSL
After playing in the WPSL Elite, Toni went to Russia. She played for Ryazan VDV during the 2012–2013 season.
In June 2013, Toni joined the Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played her first game for the Spirit on June 15, 2013.
In February 2015, Toni was traded to the Western New York Flash again. Later that year, in April, she was traded to the Houston Dash.
Time with Orlando Pride
On November 2, 2015, the Orlando Pride selected Toni in the 2015 NWSL Expansion Draft. She played for the Pride from 2016 to 2022. In October 2019, Toni played in the Pride's final game of the season after having surgery earlier that year. She signed a new contract with the team in January 2021.
Loan to Canberra United
In October 2017, Toni also played for the Australian club Canberra United. This was for the 2017–18 W-League season.
Joining Breiðablik
In March 2023, Toni signed a one-year contract with Breiðablik. This team plays in the Icelandic Besta deild kvenna league.
International Career
Toni Pressley has played for several United States youth national teams. These include the Under-17, Under-18, Under-20, and Under-23 teams.
She was part of the Under-20 team that won the CONCACAF Qualifier. This win helped them get a spot in the FIFA World Cup. Toni played every minute of every game in that tournament as a defender. She also had an assist in a 5–0 win against Switzerland. The United States team reached the quarter-finals of the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Germany.
In June 2011, Toni played with the U-23 team in the Three Nations Tournament in Sweden. She also competed for the United States women's national under-23 soccer team and won the Four Nations tournament in Spain.
Personal Life
In August 2019, Toni Pressley began treatment for a health challenge. She bravely returned to play soccer after her surgery.
Toni is a vegan and loves animals. She believes that eating a plant-based diet has helped her become a better athlete. In 2023, she released a cookbook called Girls Gone Veg. It features plant-based recipes and was written with her former Orlando Pride teammate Ali Riley.
