Tony Edward Fulton was an American politician. He served in the Maryland House of Delegates, which is like the state's parliament. He represented the 40th legislative district, an area in central and northwest Baltimore.

Early Life and Education
Tony Fulton was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 9, 1951. He grew up there and was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Later, he joined the New Psalmist Baptist Church.
School Days and Sports
Tony graduated from Baltimore City College in 1969. While there, he was a talented lacrosse player. He continued his education at Morgan State College. In 1973, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in political science. He also played on the famous Ten Bears lacrosse team at Morgan State.
Further Studies and Family
Tony Fulton then went on to get his Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. He studied public administration at the University of Maryland in 1975. He was married to Jacqueline Carter for 29 years. They had two children together. Tony Fulton passed away on May 20, 2005, after battling cancer.
Serving in the Legislature
Tony Fulton became a member of the Maryland House of Delegates in 1986. His term officially began on January 14, 1987. He worked hard to represent the people of his district.
Committee Work
Tony was part of several important committees during his time in the legislature:
- He served on the Environmental Matters Committee for many years. This committee deals with issues like nature, pollution, and how we use our land.

Throughout his career, Tony was a member of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland. This group works to address issues important to African American communities. He was also part of the National Conference of State Legislatures. This organization helps state lawmakers from across the country share ideas and work together.
