The Tower of Hercules (known as Torre de Hércules in Galician and Spanish) is a very old lighthouse in Spain. It was built by the Romans a long, long time ago. This amazing tower stands on a piece of land that sticks out into the sea, about 2.4 kilometers (1.5 mi) from the city center of A Coruña, in the region of Galicia.
