Tracy Ifeachor is a British actress who stars in TV shows and plays. She is famous for her roles as Aya Al-Rashid in the vampire series The Originals. She also played Abigail Naismith in the Doctor Who Christmas special, "The End of Time". In 2021, she took on the main role of Cleo Roberts in the BBC drama Showtrial. She will also appear as Dr. Heather Collins in the 2025 medical drama The Pitt.

Early Life and Learning

Tracy Ifeachor was born in Plymouth, Devon, England. She went to Plymouth College for her early schooling. Later, she attended Eggbuckland College, also in Plymouth.

Tracy also studied at The Raleigh School of Speech and Drama. She learned from Norma Blake. She also took dance classes at the Deborah Bond Dance academy. There, she enjoyed learning tap, ballet, modern, and jazz dance styles.

After finishing her A-levels, Tracy took a year off. She used this time to try out for drama schools in London. She won a scholarship to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. This school later joined with the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Tracy Ifeachor's Acting Career

After finishing drama school, Tracy Ifeachor got her first movie role. She appeared in Blooded, directed by Ed Boase. She also acted in two TV commercials.

Her first stage role was as Minerva in a play called Noughts & Crosses. This play was put on by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Soon after, she made her TV debut as Leila in an episode of the BBC One show Casualty.

Tracy then played Rosalind in a play called As You Like It. This was for the opening of the new Curve Theatre in Leicester. While working on this play, she was offered a big role. She got to play Abigail Naismith in David Tennant’s last two Doctor Who episodes. These episodes were called "The End Of Time" Parts One and Two. They aired in late 2009 and early 2010. Her character, Abigail, was the daughter of a rich man. He wanted his daughter to live forever.

Tracy also played Beneatha in a play called A Raisin In The Sun. This play was directed by Michael Buffong for the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. It received great reviews. She also played Ismene at The National Theatre. This was in a new play called Welcome to Thebes.

In 2016, Tracy Ifeachor joined the ABC thriller series Quantico. She played the role of Lydia Hall. In 2021, she took on the main role of Cleo Roberts in the BBC drama Showtrial.

Other Activities

Tracy Ifeachor is part of the Central School’s independent equity committee. In 2022, she was given an honorary fellowship from the school. This means she is recognized for her achievements.
