Trafford is a small town located in Jefferson County, Alabama, in the United States. A tiny part of the town also reaches into Blount County. Trafford officially became a town in 1948. In 2020, about 613 people lived there.

Where is Trafford Located?
Trafford is found in the northern part of Jefferson County. Its exact location is 33°49′8″N 86°44′48″W / 33.81889°N 86.74667°W. The Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River flows through the northwest side of the town. The town of County Line is right next to Trafford on its eastern side. Trafford is about 26 miles (42 km) north of downtown Birmingham.
