Tramain Jacobs, born on May 20, 1992, is a former American professional football player. He played as a cornerback, which is a defensive position in football. He went to Covington High School in Covington, Louisiana. After high school, he played college football at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and then at Texas A&M University. Jacobs played for several professional teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Toronto Argonauts, and Detroit Lions.

Early Life and High School Sports

Tramain Jacobs grew up in Covington, Louisiana. He attended Covington High School. While there, he was a talented athlete. He played both football and participated in track and field events.

In his senior year, Jacobs was recognized as a top player. He was named first-team All-State for Louisiana Class 5A. This honor was for his skills as a kick returner. He was also ranked as one of the best defensive backs in the country by SuperPrep. In track, he showed his athletic ability by placing in the region triple jump competition.

College Football Journey

Jacobs began his college football career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He played for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs from 2010 to 2011. During the 2011 season, he made 34 tackles and broke up 13 passes. He also caught two interceptions.

He was also good at special teams. He recovered two fumbles, returning one for a touchdown. Overall, he gained 616 yards and scored one touchdown from punt and kickoff returns.

After two years, Jacobs transferred to Texas A&M University. He joined the Texas A&M Aggies team. He played for them in 2012 and 2013. During his time with the Aggies, he played in 26 games. He recorded 55 tackles, broke up 13 passes, and had two interceptions.

Professional Football Career

Tramain Jacobs started his professional football journey in 2014. He was not chosen in the 2014 NFL draft, but the Baltimore Ravens signed him on May 12, 2014. He made his first NFL appearance on November 9, 2014, in a game against the Tennessee Titans. He was released by the Ravens in August 2015.

In September 2015, Jacobs joined the New York Giants. He was first part of their practice squad. He was moved to the active roster in November 2015. He was released and then re-signed to the practice squad later that month. In December 2015, he was again promoted to the active roster. The Giants released him in August 2016.

Jacobs then signed with the Oakland Raiders in August 2016. However, he was released by the Raiders later that same month.

In March 2017, Jacobs signed with the Toronto Argonauts, a team in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was released by the Argonauts in June 2017.

His last professional team was the Detroit Lions. He signed with them in August 2017. He was later placed on injured reserve and then released in September 2017.
