Trangie is a small town in the Orana region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the Mitchell Highway, about 485 kilometers (301 miles) northwest of Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales.
Trangie is part of the Narromine Shire local government area. In 2021, the town had a population of 768 people. The Main Western railway line, New South Wales also runs through Trangie.
