Travis Williams is an American former professional basketball player. He was born on May 27, 1969. Travis played as a small forward during his career.

He is known for playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also played for several teams in other leagues.

Early Life and College Basketball

Travis Williams grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. He went to Richland Northeast High School. After high school, he attended South Carolina State University. He played college basketball for the South Carolina State Bulldogs from 1988 to 1991.

Professional Basketball Career

Travis Williams started his professional basketball journey in 1991. He played for many different teams during his career.

Playing in the CBA

From 1991 to 1997, Travis played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). This was a major league for basketball players in the United States. He played for teams like the Fort Wayne Fury and the Oklahoma City Cavalry. He also played for the Florida Beachdogs and the Rockford Lightning. In 1997, he was recognized as one of the best players. He was chosen for the All-CBA First Team.

Time in the NBA

Travis Williams got to play in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets. He joined the Hornets in 1997. He played for them during the 1997-98 and 1998-99 NBA seasons. Playing in the NBA is a big achievement for any basketball player.

International Play
