Anthony Shawn Criss (born December 2, 1970), known as Treach, is an American rapper and actor. He is most famous as the main rapper of the hip hop group Naughty by Nature.

Early Life and Beginnings
Anthony Criss grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. He went to high school there. During his school years, Treach became part of the growing hip hop music scene.
Music and Acting Career
In 1986, Treach started a hip hop group with Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee. They were originally called New Style. Later, they changed their name to Naughty by Nature. All three members went to the same high school in East Orange, New Jersey.
Treach often performed most of the rap verses on the group's songs. This was especially true on their earlier albums. Some of Naughty by Nature's most famous songs feature Treach as the main performer. These include "O.P.P." and "Ghetto Bastard". Both songs became quite popular.
After becoming well-known for his music, Treach also started acting. He appeared in many TV shows and movies. Some of the TV series he was in include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Person of Interest, and Blue Bloods. His movies include Juice (1992), The Meteor Man (1993), and Jason's Lyric (1994). He also had a main role in the movie Love and a Bullet (2002).
Personal Life and Connections
Treach has a younger brother named Diesel. Diesel is also a rapper. He is part of the group Rottin Razkals, which works closely with Naughty by Nature.
Treach was good friends with the famous rapper Tupac Shakur. They worked together on Tupac's song "5 Deadly Venomz." Treach also appeared in Tupac's music video for "Temptations." Treach enjoys watching and participating in battle rap.
Family Life
Treach was married to Sandra Denton, who is known as Pepa from the hip hop group Salt-n-Pepa. They were married from 1999 to 2001. They have one daughter together, Egypt Jahnari Criss, born in 1998.
Treach later married Cicely Evans on September 8, 2019, in New Jersey. They have two children together. The couple appeared on a TV show called Couples Therapy in 2014.
