Anthony Shawn Criss (born December 2, 1970), known as Treach, is an American rapper and actor. He is famous as the lead rapper of the hip hop group Naughty by Nature.

Treach's Early Life and Education
Anthony Shawn Criss grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. He went to high school there. During his school years, Treach became very interested in the growing hip hop music scene.
Treach's Music and Acting Career
Treach started the hip hop group Naughty by Nature in 1986. He formed the group with Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee. They all went to the same high school in East Orange, New Jersey. The group was first called New Style.
Sometimes, Treach and Vin Rock would share verses in their songs. But often, especially on their first albums, Treach was the only rapper on a song. Some of their most famous songs are "O.P.P." and "Ghetto Bastard". These songs helped Naughty by Nature become very popular.
After becoming famous for his music, Treach also started acting. He appeared in many TV shows and movies. Some of the TV shows he was in include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Person of Interest, and Blue Bloods. He also acted in movies like Juice (1992), The Meteor Man (1993), and Jason's Lyric (1994). He had a main role in the movie Love and a Bullet (2002).
Treach's Personal Life
Treach has a younger brother named Diesel. Diesel is also a rapper. He is part of the group Rottin Razkals, which is connected to Naughty by Nature.
Treach was good friends with the rapper Tupac Shakur. They worked together on Tupac's song "5 Deadly Venomz". Treach also appeared in Tupac's music videos for "So Many Tears" and "Temptations". He was also close friends with rapper Eazy-E. Treach helped make Eazy's music video for "Only If You Want It". Eazy also appeared in Naughty by Nature's "Hip Hop Hooray" video. Treach enjoys watching battle rap.
Treach's Marriages and Family
Treach was married to Sandra Denton, who is known as Pepa from the hip hop group Salt-n-Pepa. They were married from July 1999 to 2001. They have one daughter together, Egypt Jahnari Criss, who was born on September 2, 1998.
Treach married Cicely Evans on September 8, 2019, in New Jersey. They have two children together.
