Trenni Casey (née Kusnierek; born April 30, 1977) is an American sports anchor and reporter. She works for NBC Sports Boston, sharing exciting sports news.
Early Life and Education
Trenni Casey grew up and went to school in Wisconsin. She graduated from Muskego High School. Later, in 1999, she earned a degree in journalism from Marquette University.
Around 1999, Trenni also appeared on a TV show called Change of Heart. She played herself on the show.
Exploring a Career in Sports Reporting
Trenni Casey has had a busy career in sports! She has worked for many different sports networks. From 2001 to 2002, she worked at WDJT-TV. Then, from 2003 to 2007, she was at FSN Pittsburgh. She also spent time at ABC Sports in 2005 and FSN Wisconsin in 2008.
Trenni has also been a reporter and host for the MLB Network, which covers baseball. She has done work for the Big Ten Network and the NFL Network too. For one football season, she was a sideline reporter for the Green Bay Packers during their preseason games. She worked alongside famous sports commentators Kevin Harlan and Rich Gannon.
From 2011 to 2013, Trenni worked in Milwaukee. She was a sports reporter and a talk show host for WTMJ (AM) and ESPN 540.
Covering the Olympic Games
Trenni Casey has even covered the Olympic Games! NBC Sports hired her to report on curling during the 2014 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Winter Olympics. She also covered tennis for NBC Sports at the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Trenni has also worked as a weekend and substitute host at WEEI-FM in Boston.
