Trevardo V. Williams, born on December 31, 1990, is a former American football player. He was a defensive end, a position on the defense that tries to tackle the opposing team's quarterback. Trevardo was born in Jamaica. He played college football for the University of Connecticut. After college, he was chosen by the Houston Texans in the 2013 NFL Draft. He also played for other teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, and Toronto Argonauts.

Early Life and High School Sports
Trevardo Williams was born in Jamaica. He moved to the United States in 1999 when he was a child. He went to Central High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut. There, he played high school football for the Central Hilltoppers team.
Trevardo was a very talented athlete. In 2007, both the Hartford Courant and New Haven Register newspapers named him to their all-state football teams. After graduating from Central High, he attended Canterbury School, a boarding school in New Milford, Connecticut. He continued to play football for the Saints team there.
Track and Field Achievements
Williams was also a star on the track team at Central High School. He was very fast!
- In 2007, he finished third in the 100-meter race at the State Open championships. His time was 10.74 seconds.
- In 2008, he came in second in the 200-meter race at the State Class LL Championships. His time was 22.41 seconds.
- In his senior year, he ran his fastest 100-meter race ever, finishing in 10.69 seconds.
- He also ran his personal best in the 200-meter race, with a time of 21.98 seconds.
College Football Career
Trevardo Williams went to the University of Connecticut. He played for the Connecticut Huskies football team from 2009 to 2012. During his time in college, he played in 50 games and started 30 of them. He made 133 tackles and had 30.5 quarterback sacks. A "sack" is when a defensive player tackles the quarterback before they can throw the ball.
His 30.5 sacks are actually a team record for the University of Connecticut! After his senior year in 2012, he was chosen as a first-team All-Big East Conference player. This means all the coaches in the conference agreed he was one of the best players.

Playing for the Houston Texans
The Houston Texans picked Trevardo Williams in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was the 124th player chosen overall. He played for the Texans in 2013. However, he was released by the team on August 1, 2014.
Time with Other NFL Teams
After leaving the Texans, Trevardo joined a few other NFL teams:
- He was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals on August 2, 2014, but was released just a few days later on August 8.
- He then signed with the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad on September 23, 2014. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster. He was released from the Colts on November 25.
- On December 2, 2014, Williams signed with the Washington Redskins' practice squad. He was moved to the main team roster on December 9. He was later released by the Redskins on August 19, 2015.
Playing in Canada
Trevardo Williams signed with the Toronto Argonauts on February 8, 2016. This team plays in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was released by the Argonauts on June 19, 2016.
