Trevardo V. Williams, born on December 31, 1990, is a former American football player. He was a defensive end, a position where players try to stop the other team's offense. Trevardo was born in Jamaica and later played college football for the University of Connecticut. He was chosen by the Houston Texans in the 2013 NFL draft. He also played for other teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, and Toronto Argonauts.

Early Life and High School Sports
Trevardo Williams was born in Jamaica. He moved to the United States in 1999 when he was a child. He went to Central High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut. There, he played high school football for the Central Hilltoppers team.
In 2007, two newspapers, the Hartford Courant and New Haven Register, named him one of the best football players in the state. After high school, Williams went to a boarding school called Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut. He continued to play sports there for the Saints team.
Track and Field Achievements
Williams was also a very good athlete on the track team at Central High School. He was fast! In 2007, he finished third in the 100-meter race at the State Open championships. His time was 10.74 seconds.
In 2008, he came in second place in the 200-meter race at the State Class LL Championships. His time for that race was 22.41 seconds. During his last year of high school, he ran his fastest 100-meter race in 10.69 seconds. He also ran his fastest 200-meter race in 21.98 seconds.
College Football Career
Trevardo Williams went to the University of Connecticut. He played for the Connecticut Huskies football team from 2009 to 2012. During his time in college, he played in 50 games and started 30 of them.
He made 133 tackles and had 30.5 sacks. A sack is when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. His 30.5 sacks are a record for the team! After his senior year in 2012, he was chosen as a first-team All-Big East Conference player.

Trevardo Williams was chosen in the 2013 NFL draft. This is where professional football teams pick college players to join their teams. He was picked by the Houston Texans.
Playing for the Houston Texans
The Houston Texans selected Williams in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was the 124th player chosen overall. He played for the Texans for a while. However, he was released from the team on August 1, 2014.
Time with Other NFL Teams
After leaving the Texans, Williams joined a few other NFL teams:
- Arizona Cardinals: He was picked up by the Cardinals on August 2, 2014. But he was released just six days later, on August 8.
- Indianapolis Colts: Williams signed with the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad on September 23, 2014. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster. He was released from the Colts on November 25.
- Washington Redskins: Williams signed with the Washington Redskins practice squad on December 2, 2014. He was then moved to the main team roster on December 9. He was later waived (released) due to an injury on August 14, 2015. After that, the Redskins put him on injured reserve. He was released from injured reserve on August 19.
Playing in Canada
Williams later signed with the Toronto Argonauts on February 8, 2016. This team plays in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was released from the Argonauts on June 19, 2016.
