Trevor McCallum, born on February 26, 1964, is a former soccer player from England and Canada. He played as a defender and was known for his strong play. Trevor played professionally in the North American Soccer League. He also proudly represented the Canada men's national soccer team in 18 international matches.

Trevor McCallum's Soccer Journey
Trevor McCallum started his soccer journey in England, playing for the Aston Villa youth team. In 1979, he moved to Canada. There, he continued to play soccer, joining Mississauga United in 1981.
Playing in Canadian Leagues
In 1982, Trevor played for Toronto Italia in the Canadian National Soccer League. The next year, from 1983 to 1984, he joined the Toronto Blizzard in the North American Soccer League. This was during the league's final two seasons.
After the North American Soccer League ended, Trevor returned to Toronto Italia in the National Soccer League in 1986. In 1987, he played in the Canadian Soccer League for the Edmonton Brick Men. However, he was traded back to the Toronto Blizzard during that same season. Trevor was a very good player, and in 1989, he was chosen for the Canadian Soccer League All-Star team.
In 1990, Trevor was first moved to Edmonton, but then quickly traded to Kitchener Spirit. He later returned to play for the Toronto Blizzard again in 1991.
Playing for Canada
Trevor McCallum also played for his country, the Canada men's national soccer team. His first game for Canada was on December 6, 1983, against Mexico in a friendly match. He played a total of 18 international games for the Canadian national team between 1983 and 1988.

Trevor McCallum's nephew, Gavin McCallum, is also a professional soccer player. Gavin has also played for the Canada men's national soccer team, following in his uncle's footsteps.
