The Tribune Media Company, also known as Tribune Media and used to be known as Tribune Company, is a media company that is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Through its broadcasting company, Tribune Broadcasting, it is one of the largest television broadcasting companies, owning 39 television stations across the United States. Before the August 2014 spin-off of its publishing division into Tribune Publishing, it was the nation's second-largest newspaper publisher (behind the Gannett Company) and owned newspapers such as the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, and the Orlando Sentinel. It also has media service companies, such as Tribune Media Services.
