Triesen is the third largest town, also known as a municipality, in Liechtenstein. It's a cool place with old churches from the 1400s! There's even an old weaving factory from 1863 that is now a historical building. About 5,275 people live here.

Exploring Triesen's Geography

Triesen is home to the highest mountain in Liechtenstein, called Grauspitz. It stands super tall at 2,599 meters (about 8,527 feet) above sea level! You can find Triesen located between the towns of Vaduz, Triesenberg, and Balzers.

A Look at Triesen's History

Archaeologists have found that early settlements in Triesen were often destroyed by natural disasters. This means that floods and landslides repeatedly wiped out homes from the Bronze Age and Iron Age.

The town's coat of arms has a blue background with three silver scythes on it. A scythe is a tool used for cutting grass or crops.
