Trump Plaza New Rochelle is a tall building in downtown New Rochelle, New York. It has 40 stories and is a luxury place to live. People own their apartments there, like a condominium.
This building was constructed by a company called Cappelli Enterprises. They also built another tall building, Trump Tower at City Center, in nearby White Plains. For a while, Trump Plaza was the tallest building in Westchester County. It was also the tallest building between New York City and Albany. Later, a 44-story hotel called Ritz-Carlton was built in White Plains, which became taller.

Downtown New Rochelle Development
Trump Plaza is part of a big plan to improve the downtown area of New Rochelle. This plan started in 1999 with the building of New Roc City. The project includes a specific area called Parcel 1A and another block known as Le Count Square.
Building on Parcel 1A
Trump Plaza is located at 175 Huguenot Street. It sits on the Parcel 1A site, which is about 2-acre (8,100 m2) big. The city of New Rochelle had wanted to develop this land for over 30 years.
Future Plans for Le Count Square
In 2008, Cappelli Enterprises planned to start building on 'Le Count Square'. This area is right across from Trump Plaza. They planned to add a lot more space for hotels, offices, shops, and homes. This would add about 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) of new buildings to the area.
Investment in the City
With the building of Trump Plaza and LeCount Square, Cappelli Enterprises planned to spend more than $1 billion in downtown New Rochelle. This shows a huge investment in the city's growth.
What's Inside Trump Plaza
The Trump Plaza building covers about 353,600-square-foot (32,850 m2) of space. The bottom two levels of the building have shops, which is called retail space. This retail area is about 138,000 square feet (12,800 m2) big.
Above the shops, there is a tall tower with luxury apartments. The entire Trump Plaza building stands more than 435 feet (133 m) tall. A special enclosed bridge connects the shopping area of Trump Plaza to New Roc City. This makes it easy for people to walk between the two places.
