IP refers to the rights creators have over their original works. He explained that knowing about royalties and your rights can help musicians more than just learning how to mix music.
He also mentioned that technology makes it easy to start making music. However, this also means musicians need to be smart about their rights. Tumi believes that streaming music is like a business card. It helps people discover your music. Then, musicians can use other ways to earn money from their work.
