Turan University (Kazakh: Тұран Университеті, Tūran Universitetı) is one of the first and largest private universities in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was started in 1992. Turan University offers a complete education path. Students can go from high school (lyceum) to college, then get a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and even a PhD.
At Turan University, students can study many different subjects. The university has three main areas of study: Humanities and Law, Economics, and the Academy of Film and Television. Many experienced teachers work here. This includes professors and experts who help students learn and grow.
University Campus
Turan University has its own large campus. The campus covers an area of 35,000 square meters. The main building is seven stories tall. This building holds the university's offices and classrooms for the Economics, Humanities, and Law subjects.
The campus also has great sports facilities. There are three football fields where students can play. It also has three sports halls for different activities. For students who live far away, there is a dormitory on campus.
What Students Learn
The "Turan" Educational Corporation is a full system for learning. It helps students continue their education step by step. This system includes:
- Two universities (one in Almaty and one in Nur-Sultan)
- Three colleges (two in Almaty and one in Nur-Sultan)
- A lyceum (high school) in Almaty
- A special educational and fun complex called "Tau-Turan"
