Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi - Türk Telekom Arena is a modern multi-purpose stadium located in the Şişli area of Istanbul, Turkey. It is the new home for the famous football club Galatasaray S.K.. This stadium replaced their older home, the Ali Sami Yen Stadium. The arena can hold 52,652 people, with every seat available for fans.
Building the Arena
Building a stadium this big takes a lot of materials! Here's a look at what was used:
- Over 190,000 cubic meters of concrete were poured. That's enough to fill many swimming pools!
- About 35,000 tonnes of steel were used for the stadium's structure.
- The roof alone needed 5,500 tonnes of steel to be built.

The Türk Telekom Arena is a really big place.
- The entire stadium covers an area of 195,000 square meters.
- The actual playing field, where the football games happen, is 105 meters long and 68 meters wide.
