How Tweedmouth Rangers Started
Tweedmouth Rangers Football Club was started in 2010. The team first played in the North Northumberland League in England.
Moving to a New League
In 2016, the club decided to play in a different league. They moved across the border to join the East of Scotland Football League. This league is in Scotland.
Past Wins and Trophies
While playing in the North Northumberland League, Tweedmouth Rangers had some great seasons.
- They were champions of Division Two in the 2012-13 season.
- They also won the Robson and Runciman Cups in that same year. This was a "treble-winning" season for them!
- In the 2015–16 season, they finished as runners-up in Division One.
- They also won the Anderson Cup in 2015–16.
Since joining the East of Scotland Football League, the team has faced some challenges. They currently play in the Second Division of this league.
Home Ground and Leadership Changes
For the 2023–24 season, Tweedmouth Rangers started sharing their home ground. They play at Shielfield Park in Berwick-upon-Tweed. This stadium is also home to Berwick Rangers and Berwick Bandits. Shielfield Park can hold over 4,000 fans, with 1,366 seats.
In January 2023, Colin Smith became the new club chairman. He took over after Kevin Dixon stepped down. In June 2023, the club announced that Kev Wright was appointed as the new First Team Manager.
