Tygo Gernandt was born on April 7, 1974, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a well-known Dutch actor. He has acted in many Dutch movies and TV shows. Some of his famous movies include Van God Los, Schnitzelparadijs, and De Dominee. He also appeared in the British TV series The Last Kingdom.

Awards and Special Roles
Tygo won a special award called the Golden Calf. He received this award for his great acting in the Dutch movie Van God Los. This award is one of the most important film awards in the Netherlands.
In 2006, Tygo used his voice for a character named Proog. This was for a short animated film called Elephants Dream.
TV Show Fun: Wie is de Mol?
In 2014, Tygo took part in a very popular Dutch TV show called Wie is de Mol?. In this show, a group of famous people travel together and complete challenges. One person among them is secretly "the mole" and tries to stop the group from winning money. Tygo was a contestant, trying to figure out who the mole was.
He returned to the show in 2020 for a special edition. This version, called Wie is de Mol? Renaissance, featured only people who had been on the show before.
