Tylen Jacob Williams is an American actor. He was born on December 8, 2001. Tylen is well-known for his role as James Phillips. This character was in the TV comedy series Instant Mom. The show aired on Nick at Nite from 2013 to 2015.

Tylen Jacob Williams grew up in Westchester County, New York. His mom, Angela Williams, is a talented singer and songwriter. His dad, Le'Roy Williams, was a police sergeant before he retired. Tylen has two older brothers, Tyler James Williams and Tyrel Jackson Williams. Both of his brothers are also actors. It seems acting runs in the family!
Tylen's Acting Career
Tylen started acting when he was only four years old. His first role was playing a younger version of a character named Drew. This was for the TV show Everybody Hates Chris. Tylen also appeared in other popular TV shows. These included Without a Trace and Parks and Recreation.
Starring in Instant Mom
In 2013, Tylen got a big role. He was cast as James Phillips in the Nick at Nite series Instant Mom. James was known as the family prankster on the show. Tylen played this main role until the series ended in 2015.

Later, in 2017, Tylen played Jordan Cavanaugh. This character was the son of Detective Tommy Cavanaugh. It was for an episode of the TV show Wisdom of the Crowd. Tylen has shown his acting skills in many different types of shows.
