College Football Career
Tyree Jackson started his college journey at Buffalo in 2015. He spent his first year as a "redshirt" player. This means he practiced with the team but did not play in games. This allowed him to gain experience without using a year of his college eligibility.
In 2016, he played in 10 games and started nine of them. He completed 165 passes for 1,772 yards. He also threw nine touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2017, he started eight games. He missed four games because of an injury. That season, he threw for 2,096 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Jackson returned as the starting quarterback in 2018. He had a fantastic season. He was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year. He led the Buffalo Bulls to a great 10–4 season. They won the MAC East division title. They also played in a bowl game called the Dollar General Bowl.
On January 6, 2019, Tyree decided to leave college early. He wanted to try for a career in the NFL. He was invited to the 2019 Senior Bowl, a special game for top college players. He played for the South team and was named the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

His contract ended when the league stopped playing on April 10, 2020.
Philadelphia Eagles
On January 7, 2021, the Philadelphia Eagles signed Tyree Jackson. This was a big change for him. The Eagles signed him to play as a tight end, not a quarterback. He worked hard to learn his new position. He showed a lot of promise during training camp.
