Tyson Andrews (born 6 February 1990) is an Australian former professional rugby league player. He was known for playing as a prop, which is a forward position in rugby league. Tyson played for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the top-level National Rugby League (NRL). He also played for the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup, which is a major competition in Queensland.

Early Life and Rugby Beginnings
Tyson Andrews was born in Maitland, New South Wales, Australia. He is from an Indigenous Australian background. When he was young, his family moved to Queensland.
Junior Rugby League
Tyson started playing junior rugby league for a team called the Maroochydore Swans. His talent was noticed, and he was later signed by the Brisbane Broncos.
Playing Career Highlights
Tyson Andrews played for the Brisbane Broncos' NYC team in 2008 and 2009. This was a competition for younger players who were hoping to become professional.
A Break for Boxing
In 2010, Tyson decided to take a break from rugby league. He chose to try boxing instead. During this time, he achieved a great success by winning the Australian heavyweight amateur title.
Return to Rugby League
After his boxing career, Tyson returned to rugby league in 2011. He moved to Mackay, Queensland and played for a local team called Wests. He played so well that the coaches of the Queensland Cup team Mackay Cutters invited him to join their squad.
Joining the Manly Sea Eagles
In June 2013, Tyson signed a two-year contract with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. He started playing for them in 2014.
NRL Debut
Tyson Andrews made his first appearance in the NRL in 2014. This happened in Round 18 when the Sea Eagles played against the Wests Tigers.
Indigenous All Stars Match
On 13 February 2015, Tyson had the honor of playing for the Indigenous All Stars team. They played against the NRL All Stars in the yearly All Stars match. This is a special game that celebrates Indigenous players in rugby league.
Later Career
In 2016, Tyson Andrews played for the Redcliffe team in the Queensland Cup. He continued to play at a high level in this competition.
