UVERworld is a popular Japanese rock band with five members. They started playing music together in 2000 and officially debuted in July 2005. The band comes from Shiga Prefecture in Japan. Before their big debut, they performed many live shows, especially in the Kansai area. They first played in Tokyo in late 2004. In 2005, the Recording Industry Association of Japan named them the 'New Artist of the Year'.

UVERworld has five talented members:

  • Takuya∞: He is the lead singer of the band. He also helps with music programming, which means he uses computers to create sounds and beats.
  • Nobuto: He plays the bass guitar. The bass guitar provides the deep, low sounds that are the foundation of the music.
  • Akira: He plays the guitar and also helps with music programming.
  • Katsuya: He also plays the guitar. Together, Akira and Katsuya create the band's guitar melodies and riffs.
  • Shintaro: He plays the drums. The drums keep the rhythm and energy of the band's songs.
