Udești (also known as Uydestie in German) is a special type of local area in Romania. It is called a commune. A commune is like a small group of villages that work together. Udești is found in the northeastern part of Romania. This area is known as Suceava County and is part of a bigger historical region called Bukovina.
Udești commune is made up of eleven different villages. These villages are Chilișeni, Luncușoara, Mănăstioara, Plăvălari, Poieni-Suceava, Racova, Reuseni, Rușii-Mănăstioara, Securiceni, Știrbăț, and Udești itself. Each village has its own unique charm and history.
