Uładzimir Ihnatsik is a professional tennis player from Belarus. He was born on July 14, 1990, in Minsk. He plays tennis with his right hand and uses a two-handed backhand.

Tennis Journey
Junior Star
Uładzimir was a very talented junior player. In June 2007, he became the No. 1 junior tennis player in the world. He won the boys' singles title at the French Open that year. Later, he reached the final at Wimbledon, finishing as the runner-up.
Starting Professional Play
Uładzimir turned professional in 2007. He began earning points by playing in smaller tournaments called Futures. By the end of 2008, he was ranked 431st in the world.
He also started playing for Belarus in the Davis Cup, which is a big team tennis competition. At just 17 years old, he played his first matches in 2008.
Climbing the Ranks
In 2009, Uładzimir continued to play Futures tournaments. He won his first Futures title in Poland in June. He then had a great run, winning three more Futures tournaments in Turkey and Spain later that year. These wins helped him get into the top 300 players.
After that, he started playing in bigger tournaments called Challengers. In November 2009, he won his first Challenger title in Tokyo, Japan. He finished 2009 ranked No. 192 in the world.
Challenger Success
Uładzimir continued to do well in Challenger tournaments. He won his second Challenger title in Guangzhou, China, in 2011. In 2012, he won his third Challenger title in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
He has won a total of 5 ATP Challenger singles titles and 18 ITF Futures singles titles. In doubles, he has won 4 ATP Challenger titles and 6 ITF Futures titles.
Grand Slam Tournaments
Uładzimir has played in the qualifying rounds for all four major tennis tournaments, known as Grand Slams. These are the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. His best result was reaching the third qualifying round at the US Open in 2018. This means he was very close to playing in the main draw of one of the biggest events in tennis!
