Up, Up and Away is a fun Disney Channel Original Movie from the year 2000. It's a comedy and adventure story about a boy named Scott. He comes from a family of amazing superheroes. But Scott doesn't have any powers himself! Can he still save the world when it needs him most?

The Story of Scott Marshall
Scott Marshall (Michael J. Pagan) is a regular kid in a super family. His dad, Bronze Eagle (Robert Townsend), can fly. His mom, Warrior Woman (Alex Datcher), has super strength and is great at fighting. Scott's brother, Silver Charge, is super fast and can control electricity. His little sister, Molly, has both x-ray and heat vision.
His grandpa, Steel Condor (Sherman Hemsley), is super strong and can fly, even if he's a bit slow now. His grandma, Doris (Joan Pringle), can change her shape. The only problem is that Scott doesn't have any powers. If he doesn't get them by his 14th birthday, he'll be normal forever. All the Marshalls have one funny weakness: aluminium foil.
The Earth Protectors
A group called "Earth Protectors" gives out special CD-ROMs to Scott's classmates. Nina (Olivia Burnette) wants to use them to teach about the environment. But her partner, Malcolm (Kevin Connolly), has a secret, greedy plan. He finds out his program works best on kids. He starts making them do strange things, like wanting lots of chocolate or all wearing blue.
Scott gets caught up in the CD-ROM's spell and loses track of time. His dad, Jim, gets suspicious about the Earth Protectors. Jim and his brother Adam try to find the program at the bank. But Adam accidentally breaks the computer system.
Scott's Secret and Malcolm's Plan
Scott pretends to have super strength and flight so his parents won't be disappointed. His grandpa, Steel Condor, finds out the truth. He decides to support Scott no matter what. Malcolm decides to use Nina as a fake victim. This way, he can either catch the heroes or get rid of Nina.
This all happens on Scott's birthday. His parents and guests let Scott try to save Nina. But both Scott and Nina almost get hurt. Luckily, Jim saves them, as his dad had told him the truth about Scott.
A Mix-Up and a Rescue
Scott loses his mask, and Malcolm figures out who he is. Malcolm visits Scott's school. He uses an improved CD-ROM to make Scott reveal everything about his family. Then, Malcolm gives Scott a new CD-ROM. He tells the teacher that all parents must watch that night's lesson.
But Scott accidentally switches CD-ROMs with his friend Amy (Jamie Renée Smith). Because of this, Amy's mom (Nancy Sorel) acts strangely and goes to the Earth Protectors' headquarters. Malcolm uses her to trap the heroes with foil.
Scott, Amy, and his best friend Randy (Chris Marquette) head to the warehouse. They need to save Scott's family from Malcolm's mind control. Nina helps them because she realizes Malcolm's bad intentions. But Malcolm's helpers catch them before they can stop the program.
With only a second left before his family is permanently brainwashed, Scott smashes the main computer with a soccer ball!
After the Adventure
Silver Charge uses his powers to make everyone forget the heroes' secret identities. Amy tells Scott she likes him and asks him to a dance. But Adam accidentally erases her memories of everything that happened.
Scott's parents let Randy keep his memories. They know Scott needs a friend who understands his superhero life. Later, when it's time to pick a soccer team captain, Amy and Scott choose each other. So, they become co-captains! Randy asks about other heroes, and Scott tells him that the Green Hornet was one of his birthday guests.
