Usha Sangwan is a very important Indian business leader. She used to be a Managing Director at Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), which is India's largest company for life insurance. She made history in 2013 by becoming the first woman to get this high position. Later, she also became an Independent Director at LIC. Usha is the daughter of Lakshman Das Mittal, who started the Sonalika Group. She worked at LIC for 37 years, from 1981 to 2018. In 2023, she joined Tata Motors as a director.
